As Managing Director of Hospitality for one of the largest independent developers and operators of private boutique resorts and residence clubs, Edward is responsible for ensuring Timbers Resort’ high standards and well-regarded service culture are upheld across the company’s growing portfolio of
international properties. With nearly two decades of hospitality experience in the Americas and Asia, Edward oversees the overall guest experience and spearheads efforts for expanding lifestyle offerings at Timbers’ 15 luxury ski, golf and beach properties.

Prior to Timbers Resorts, Edward served as the General Manager of The St. Regis, Deer Valley where he oversaw all operations at the resort and residences consistently earning the rating of top ski resort in North America. Edward began his career at the Orchid Mauna Lani, Hawaii and served in managerial position with Starwood Hotel’s Westin and Sheraton Brans in Stamford Connecticut and New Orleans. Additionally, he held managerial positions with Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group in New York, Hong Kong
and Bermuda.

Edward graduated cum lade from Tennessee State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Hotel and Restaurant Administration. In addition, he gained an MBA from RMIT (Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology), Australia through Mandarin Oriental’s MBS Program.
