Stephen is a native New Yorker who made his way out west for college. Upon graduating, he began his career in the Executive Training Program of Robinson’s Department Store in Los Angeles.

After a number of years on the retail side, he switched over to the wholesale end of the business as Co-Founder of Best Kept Resources. After 15 years building a very successful sportswear company, he sold his stake and joined GIII Apparel Group, heading up its Men’s division.

He returned to Los Angeles in 2007 to become Group President of BCBG Max Azria.  5 years later, he returned to New York and was named President of designer brand Elie Tahari.

In 2014, Stephen rejoined GIII Apparel Group, a publicly traded company with a unique portfolio of owned and licensed fashion brands. Today, Stephen is responsible for the US wholesale division of luxury, French-based brand Vilebrequin, and its vast expansion plan. Vilebrequin is the “crown jewel” of the company’s portfolio. The brand has over 150 freestanding stores worldwide, located in the most exclusive shopping destinations from St. Barts to Beverly Hills. The brand is also sold in the finest retailers as well as many of the most luxurious hotels across the globe.
